How to cut open a bike "D" lock with an angle grind.
1. The problem - somebody tampered with the lock on my new
bike at night while it was locked outside my flat, leaving
the lock in an un-openable state.
2. I got this bad boy from Argos (UK store that sells everything)
for £15. Also went to a hardware store and got some protective
eyeglasses, a mouth and nose guard, and some ear muffs.
3. It took about two minutes to get to this stage. There are a
lot of sparks flying out of this thing during the
grinding, so the protective eyewear is definitely needed.
4. The lock after five minutes.
5. Problem solved!
